My Claas Lexion 460 combine harvester has been in use for 13 years. There are no complaints - the machine works like new. The quality of threshing is top-notch. Fuel consumption is economical. There have been minor malfunctions, but armed with information from the Internet, we easily fixed them. If there is a significant breakdown, we will have to order factory parts. Fortunately, we haven't encountered anything like that so far.

Ran the Claas Lexion through a full harvest last season. Those new Mercedes engines actually sip less fuel than you’d think for the amount of power. Engine stays cool, the automatic fan adjustment does what it’s supposed to, rarely saw temps creep up. But man, these machines have so many electronics now, every little adjustment’s automatic. Sometimes feels like I spend more time watching screens than looking at my header. Don't get me wrong, it does most things right, but when there’s a hiccup, you get a lot of beeping and flashing. Comfort's not bad, seat’s alright for long days. Maintenance isn’t cheap, especially when something electronic needs fixing. Still, keeps up even in some tough conditions, not bad overall.

I had the chance to operate a Claas Lexion 480 this year. The grain header attachment worked flawlessly, and the machine's engine showed reliability even after prolonged usage. However, the tires seemed worn, slightly affecting field traction. Maintenance access was straightforward and hassle-free. Reliable choice for its category.

Been running the Lexion for a good chunk of this season - gotta say, took a minute to get comfy with all the new bits but wasn't as complicated as I thought. The cab's bigger, which helps when you're stuck in there all day. That new monitor system felt a bit over the top at first, but you mess with it for a few days and it actually makes sense. The touchscreen and the controls are pretty easy to mess with, you can actually get stuff set up how you want it. Not sure every setting is needed, but it works. Maintenace hasn't been a pain yet, seems like the belts and clutch system are pretty solid, and they cut down on headaches. Only thing, there’s so much tech, feels like if something flips out, you need someone to come out and have a look. Otherwise, not bad. Price is still tough, you pay for the name I guess.

We have been using Claas machinery for several years now. Among them, our favorite is the Lexion 560 combine harvester. We own a dairy farm with working areas spanning 7000 hectares. This combine harvester is primarily used for haymaking. However, it is not suitable for those looking to economize on fuel consumption.

I am the owner of a company specializing in growing elite varieties of sugar beet for seeds. We currently do not have our own harvesting equipment, so we decided to rent one. We chose the Lexion 480 combine harvester. The machine has a power of 400 horsepower. The rental expenses are completely covered in the first month. I especially like the on-board computer, which displays comprehensive information about the crop yield per unit of field area.

Having used the Jaguar 960, I found its performance remarkable. The automatic crop flow adjustment works seamlessly, ensuring consistent cutting. Although the fuel efficiency is decent, the machine requires experienced handling, especially when navigating varying field conditions.

This model efficiently handles uneven terrains thanks to the advanced self-leveling mechanism, making operations less stressful. Compared to its predecessor, output levels have noticeably increased. However, getting acquainted with its automated functions took time. Straw quality after threshing is commendable, although ensuring proper adjustment is essential. Overall, the unit's performance aligns well with expectations.

I heard that the Claas Lexion 580 combine harvester set a record in the early 2010s for crop yield. In just 8 hours, this machine managed to achieve a result of 523 tons. This information greatly intrigued me, so I decided to rent this powerful machine for one season. As a result of its operation, we understood why this combine harvester delivers such impressive results. It turns out that it needs to be equipped with a GPS navigator so that it can strictly follow a predetermined trajectory without deviating from its course. The only thing that prevents me from purchasing this combine harvester is the high prices of its spare parts.
